So… you want to know about me?
Well, I have lived almost my entire life in Oklahoma. Grew up in Yukon and moved to Stillwater in 2003 where I attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University. I met a girl named Alaina and eventually one of my best friends talked her into going on a date with me. We were married less than a year later. We have the greatest baby boy (Beckett) and now live in Littleton, CO as of January 2008!
I used to work for the Stillwater Campus of LifeChurch.tv in OK. Now, I currently work for Ken Caryl Baptist Church in Littleton, CO as the youth pastor. We have an awesome ministry here. I hate it when people ask me what I do for a living or what I do to keep busy, after I just told them I am a pastor. My responce is usually something along the lines of, “I pray.”
I know one of the cardinal rules to good blogging is to have a target audence you are writing to. If you are reading this, you’re my audience. This is for anyone and no one. I will write about my life experiences, frustrations, joys and the people that get on my nerves the most - Christians. I will ask a lot of questions that probably have no answers. But it will be enjoyable, we can criticize and support each other, and I can get a lot of things off my chest.
